We stayed here for the first time this year. We loved it and we will be back! The majority of the campers were fishers - up early and also to bed early. We came to relax and this park is perfect for that. The park is 27 crooked miles from civilization and that is the only drawback, but I bet most of our fellow campers - many who've come every year for 20 or more years - come here for that very reason. Many of the river view sites have been converted to cabin sites so the map on their website may no longer be accurate. Overall, a great value, and we give this park a 10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park for a peaceful get away. Located up the Rogue River from Gold Beach, OR with great fishing. Good access to the river for your boat. 15 sites have a really nice river view. Nice big pavilion for group functions. The restrooms and showers are clean and good sized. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The ONLY downside to this park is getting here. It's a long, winding, narrow road up the Rogue River from Gold Beach. But once you're here, it's wonderful. The sites are spacious, and we were given one right on the river, though you're up on a high bank. The owners have taken an old campground and done wonders with it in the form of upgrades to the sites, the showers/bathrooms/rec room building, the WiFi and more. The cable TV only has about 8 channels, but if you have satellite there are enough gaps in the trees to use it. There are inflatable kayaks for rent in case you want to float the river; if you're here in spring or fall then you can fish for salmon and steelhead. It was a bit slow since it was in the heat of the summer. The tiny town of Agness is across the river (but about 5 miles by road) and has a post office and small store in case you need eggs, bread, milk, etc. We wish we had stayed even longer than we did. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
