The price indicated is based on a one-month stay. It does not reflect the charge for electricity, which was a VERY fair $52 and change for the entire month. The owners live on the premises and are very friendly, helpful, and cooperative. The campsites are almost completely encircled by the 9-hole golf course. There is no cable, so you have a choice of bringing your own satellite system or receiving a few weak stations from Syracuse (when you are lucky). The Wi-Fi at times worked fine, but other times it was useless. You'll probably need to bring a mobile hotspot, too. Still, it's a nice place to stay. There are a number of perms, and the residents are friendly and sociable. The worst thing about our stay was the insects...millions of them. However, this is characteristic of the entire region and certainly not unique to Streamside. The other bad thing (or good thing) about this area is that there is not a lot to do unless you drive a considerable distance. It's very quiet at night and the starry sky is beautiful. So if you like camping and golfing every day, you cannot find a better situation than Streamside. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, level pull throughs surrounded by small golf course. Full hook-up, 50 amp for $26. No shade. Not crowded, but understand that changes in September/October when the salmon run starts. Park management was professional and courteous. Would stay again if passing through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an excellent overnight stop, four tenths of a mile off I-81. Close enough to be real convenient but far enough away to avoid traffic noise. There are no shower facilities, but work well for self contained rigs with large level sites and good gravel interior roads. There is a bar and grille located in the golf course clubhouse. If passing though the area would definitely stop again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is okay for an overnight or if you like to golf. The place has no amenities. No pool, no restrooms no showers. No nothing. The E/W/S worked fine and level was okay. After a rain lots of sites did hold water. We would stay here again for an overnighted. Staff was friendly and helpful We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a hidden gem. We booked this campground because it is close to the I-81 and half way between Watertown and Syracuse. We were taking our very first trip in our new 5th wheel. The staff was very friendly when we booked and when we arrived. We were escorted to our site which was gravel and level, very wide and had a picnic table. Road from the interstate to the park was newly paved. Roads in the park are a little rough but OK, no pot holes. The park is on city water (40 psi) and there are no issues with the electricity. We had strong, free Wi-Fi at our site. Our site faced the 4th hole of the 9 hole golf course. This course is 2537 yards from the blue tees. If you stay 2 nights, for an extra $15, two can play 9 holes of golf with a cart! This park is pretty much an adult park. There are no kiddie structures or pool, but there is a small restaurant and covered patio that offer snacks and beverages before or after golf. Or anytime else for that matter: for a reasonable price. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
