Best thing about this park is quiet which is why we chose it. Other parks are too close to busy highway and train tracks. There are about 40 sites with water hookups but no electric. Showers and bathrooms are old and run down but I suppose clean enough - they were cleaned daily. Best for smaller rigs but there are a few that can accommodate larger rigs. Pads are small but some are open enough that you can hang over the pad if needed. There was a 40 footer when we were there. Beautiful Hood River runs through it. There is a geocache at the park if you participate in geocaching. Also picked fresh wild blackberries while there. We stayed 4 days and I would stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This Hood River County park is located on 36 acres along the South bank of the Hood River. The campground is close to town, yet quiet (no trains). The sites are kind of spread around with two sections, one mostly for RV's and the other for tent campers. Sites are available on a first come first serve basis with no reservations. We stayed in site E which had a wonderful view and sound of the roaring Hood River below. There is playground equipment, a picnic shelter, tables, and fishing. RVs up to 30' are allowed. The showers and bathrooms were in terrible condition and we didn't use them. Also be aware that the two electrical outlets next to sites M and N were not working at the time we stayed and didn't look like they had worked in a long time, however there is plenty of water at almost all the sites. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
