This is a "primitive" campground for TENTS only. Princess Place preserve is a 1,500 acre Flagler County Park on the site of an old plantation. It is on the Mantanzas River (a huge estuary )and Pellicer Creek. Sites have a covered picnic table and a dock, but no facilities. There is an old mansion and stable, miles of hiking trails, a canoe/kayak launch, great fishing, moss covered live oak trees...just beautiful! And remote. The restrooms at the visitor's center have flush toilets and running water. I gave it a 7 because of lack of facilities, but it is a 10 in beauty. It is very near I-95 between St. Augustine and Daytona. Call ahead for camping permits. We camped here in a Tent.
