The $8 rate is the Golden Age rate. Standard rate is $16 WATER: Most sites have "shared water". You can fill your tank at the entrance station or, in our case, we borrowed enough hose to reach 150 feet to fill the tank. Site 73 is a pull through with one of the water faucets. If you could call the host, before you reserve; they can tell you where the water spigots are. I do not have a phone #, and they are open early A.M. and then late afternoon if you find a phone #. This is a beautiful park with a lot of trees. Over the air TV only on 90% of the sites with 9 stations available. Verizon 3G service available, but slow. This park is just south of Nemo, MO, off Hwy 64, (my new GPS does not have "Nemo, MO" and calls Hwy 64 a "Road". Follow the directions on Rec.Gov from U.S 65, but turn left at the 4 way stop, which is "south", not "west". They are upgrading this park to change 30 Amp sites to 50 amp with water. There are a number of C.O.E. parks on this lake. During the summer, reservations are strongly recommended if you wish a pull through or big rig site, even during the week. The lake and park are about 2 hours from Kansas City and a little over 1 hour north of Springfield, MO, so it stays packed.
