We are staying here 4 nights. It is beautiful, very shady and lots of privacy. Hiking trails to river are well marked. Showers are pay. There is a laundry available. One downside is the train that travels close by 5+ times during the day and 2+ times at night. It is not enough to disturb your rest unless noises are a problem. My husband thinks it adds to the ambiance of the campground. Very restful. Town is close by for simple needs. There is one grocery store. Costco & Walmart are about an hour away. Would definitely return here for extended stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a treat! Plenty of space between us and our neighbors and lots of shade. Nearly level gravel site with picnic table. Activity board by the rest room / shower appeared to be kept up to date, and there were one or two nice walking trails to the water and around the facility. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a lovely RV park. The spaces are spread apart, so it feels like a park. Lots of trees and grass. We were up on top. And yes, there are trains that go by, and they do blow their horns, but it is mostly during the day. We didn't hear any trains at nights. It was not a level site, but easy to level up. The river is close by, as is the state park. Beautiful mountains. We would definitely stay here if we are in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
What a charming place this is. Large level sites in the trees. Deer all over the place. Walking trails to the river. Downside was train noise and no internet except in the office. The charm makes up for it. The showers are pay and we didn't use them. Water pressure is low. But I still would come back. Each site has so much privacy with a picnic table and great views. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have stayed here once a year for the past three years. Very nice park and clean. The showers are pay showers $1/10 mins. Laundry room is at the upper site part of the park only. The train passes by quite a bit and blows its horn when passing the park. Make sure you reserve ahead and confirm your space. They often try to give you a different space to maximize their occupancy to their advantage, not yours. They always don't seem to know how the mix up happened every year we have been here. Ask for a camp site confirmation to be emailed to you with the site number confirmed and dates of stay and call ahead to verify before you arrive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
