As other reviewers have mentioned, hook ups are locked until you pay inside the gift/smoke shop. Check in was painful for us as another camper ran in ahead to get in line while her husband struggled to park their big fifth wheel unassisted. There was way too much paperwork to complete for an overnight stay. The clerk allowed two locals to then cut in ahead of me to buy cigarettes after my long wait for the previous camper, and then assisted a third cigarette buyer during our transaction. We had little to no Verizon signal and the WiFi signal was marginal. We enjoyed a great breakfast (despite the smoking permitted inside the restaurant) at the casino, dumped our tanks at the gas station and took care of some business at the post office next door. We will probably not stay again as we rely heavily on Verizon for internet and phone service. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It is not a campground. It is a parking lot with W/E hookups. No fires, no picnic tables. It is fine for an overnight or if you are there to use the casino, but isn't where we'd stay for any length of time. Electric and water were great. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our second year in a row staying here. You check in at the casino gift shop and they have to unlock the utilities (W&E)for you. The major change from last year's review is that they now charge $20 a night (it was free last year). They have added WIFI (they give you the password at check-in). We lost the connection during the evening due to rain (according to the staff). I didn't know rain could shut down WIFI - it was just rain, not a thunderstorm. RVers also have access to the indoor pool at the casino lodge. Again, there are no separate RV park restrooms (there are some in the casino and gas station) or showers. There is a dump by the gas station. This is an OK one night stop in northern WI on US2. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We haven't been here for years and I had forgotten that the casino had RV sites until we stopped here. The sites (15 is an estimate) are fairly level, back-in, W&E sites on asphalt at the back end of the east side casino parking lot. There are no sewers, cable TV, or Wi-Fi. There is a dump behind the gas station at the other end of the lot and most sites appear to be satellite friendly. There are no separate bath facilities for the RVers. There are bathrooms in the casino (not 24 hours) and gas station, but no showers. Shared W&E hook-ups are every other site at the back of the site, so you will want to try to get a site with the utilities on the driver's side. As of right now, you pull into an empty site and check with casino security to see if it is OK. There is NO charge for the site. Hopefully, the casino will keep things this way. It's a great deal as long as you don't lose too much in the casino. We camped here in a Motorhome.
