Small RV park with rustic cabins on site, away from the RV sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a pull through spot for our 33 footer overlooking a grassy meadow complete with deer and antelope in the evenings. Grass site with easy access in and out. We spent an extra day here just enjoying the surrounding mountains and wild life. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I agree with previous reviewer comments but would add the restroom/showers were pretty
rustic. They were clean but could use some modernizing. A good campground for the price and great location to area attractions. Very quiet and serene with very friendly owner/operators. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Small, quiet, clean, beautiful location. Hosts are very nice and accommodating. Rates are very reasonable, $14/night, plus $2 for each hookup. Shady sites surrounded by pine trees: great views! Not sure how big of a rig can fit to these sites, but when we were here, a couple of 30-40 ft. class A's drove by on their way from their campsite. Campground is very close to Custer State Park (about 2 miles west) and the city of Custer (about 2 miles east) and makes a great base camp for exploring the area! I'd recommend The Roost to anyone! We camped here in a camper.
