Pearl Lake is so beautiful, quiet and entirely surrounded by pine trees. Not many views, but it's still beautiful. The sites are a little small and the road leading in is a bit tight and windy for our 37 ft. Fifth wheel, but we managed. The lake and the surrounding area is so serene. We enjoyed the fishing for Grayling, paddle boarding and the dogs loved to swim in the lake and hike with us, too! Pearl Lake is only five miles away from Steamboat Lake- another hidden gem in the Colorado State Park system. We would camp here again in a second! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A small, quiet park about 23 miles north of Steamboat Springs. This is one of the nicest "dry" campgrounds in the state. Cool, well-separated wooded sites, some close to the lake. Access roads and sites unpaved but usually in good condition. Most sites slightly off level. Nice views, and the quiet, starlit nights are incredible. Used mostly by tenters and small trailers, but can easily accommodate small-to-medium size motorhomes. Dump station is at Steamboat Lake, about 3 miles further north. We camped here in a Motorhome.
