A very family oriented campground with lots of kids biking, families walking their dogs, and others walking for exercise. Everyone seemed polite and friendly (including fellow campers and kids). Lots of well-maintained seasonals that are decked out nicely and look very pretty at night time (makes for a great walk in the evening!). Sites are with trees but lots of light filtering in. Water pressure was excellent; electric power was great. My only disappointment was that the bathrooms are very out-of-date and need major updating. Still, we would camp there again in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Call for directions. If you use your GPS or MapQuest or Google Maps it will route you through town. There is a better way. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The park roads are narrow and tight, the sites are grass and they are fairly close together. This is a family park with lots of kids going every which way. Loud and noisy during the day and into the late evening. Fireworks going off well past eleven. Water pressure was good but electric was marginal at the best. Of the 260 sites here most are permanents, but well maintained. We would not camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great park for kids. Regulars at this park. pools are still cold this early in year but later on in summer, pools are warm. Nice people. Great stay for the weekend or longer. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
A friendly, family orientated campground. Can be over the top with rules, but you will not see a better campground with CSA approved playground equipment for children and reserved play area for worry free camping. Simply one of the best, bar none. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This is one of our standard "stop-over" parks on our way to and from Nova Scotia or P.E.I. It has always been clean and well run. It's busy on the weekends, so call ahead for reservations. As someone else has noted, it is full of kids; but we have never found them to be out-of-control here, as you see in some parks. The owners are friendly and help you to your site. The camp store closes the day after Labor Day, so shop for groceries elsewhere if you arrive after this date. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A nice park set in tall trees behind a motel; seems to cater mostly to long timers, if not seasonals. Two pools, a great playground, good laundry and men’s restrooms, but women’s needed painting and hardware replacement. There were supposed to be two telephones available, but they weren’t there. In the semi-serviced sites the electricity was 20 amps, but our AC didn’t trip it. Two TV stations received. Recommended for a long stay with children (they’ll make lots of friends) or as an enroute overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
