We stayed in the upper park and campsites are very large with plenty of trees. They only downside was a very dusty road to get to your campsite. The lower park has smaller sites but has a tar road to the camping sites. Clean bathrooms. There are also hiking trails and a swimming beach. Would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
It has big spaces and usually separated by trees and shrubs. There are lots of trails for hiking. Lots of mosquitoes in July. There is a swimming pond and beach. We plan to stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rustic campground that typifies our great state park system. This weekend was all about the kids and our hunting dogs in search of the elusive pheasant. This campground made a great basecamp for our daily hunting expeditions. Also the kids had plenty of room to play and explore. We had electric hookups and generally had a great time in this park. Would like to visit again with the wife and daughter. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
