Beautiful state park on the St.Lawrence River. Electric sites can be a little cramped and sunny but mostly occupied by RV's w/ac. Tent site loop is all shaded. We stayed in the RV section. Nice beach and plenty of room to hike and bike if desired. Way off the main road so there's little noise and lots of woods. Sites are spacious but open. Very nice in the off season if that is your style. We'll be back. Restrooms and showers were nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Camping for 35 years in tent and then motorhome, Jacques Cartier is rated by our family as one of the best ten campgrounds and best five public campgrounds in the United States and Canada. 60 no hook up (but most suitable for tent, trailer, or motorhome)large sites and 34 electric only sites. Water spigots near sites. Dump station. Premium sites (higher fee) located directly on crystal clear St. Lawrence River. Excellent swimming beach in cove with lifeguards, camp store, old but clean restrooms and showers. Excellent fishing from boat, small dock, or along shore, Small boats at campsites or dock. Small towns and activities within 15 miles. Friendly staff and campers. Watch out for skunks and wild geese at sites. Dog friendly but pick up after pets or bye bye campers. We camped here in a Motorhome.
