We were in the "older" part pull-through campground. Good shade, but difficult to get into and pads are short, at a bad angle and not level. Very pretty area. We would camp there again, just be more selective of our site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is a nice, COE campground. My only complaint was the lack of effort to keep the bathrooms clean. We were in a rig with our own shower or I would have complained. Beyond that, this park is top notch. Shaded sites are available. Some are heavily shaded. Waterfront sites are also available. We were in a 38' 5th wheel behind a LBCC (?) so we have a pretty long rig. The following sites should be avoided if you have a long rig: 4, 7-11, 13, 30, 32, 35, 41 & 42. Sites 16-28 have heavy shade. Sites 0-15 are partially shaded 32-54 have little to no shade. A boat ramp is available inside the same park and equestrian sites are available in a special area. We will camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

There are several loops in this COE campground park with two being dedicated to equestrian, one to tenters, one containing covered shelters, and the others are for the usual RV. All campground sites have fire pits, grills, and covered picnic tables. There is one playground for the entire park. One bathhouse per loop, but no laundry facilities. Water pressure and voltage was good. The 30A only loops are heavily treed making satellite reception difficult. Access roads in the majority of the loops are narrow with tight turns that require caution for longer rigs. Definitely, not big rig friendly. The loop containing 50A service was the least desirable. Those pads were gravel and mostly unleveled. All sites in this campground are much less spacious than that of a typical Corps park. The dump station wasn’t level, which would prohibit a complete emptying of all tanks. The trees over the roads and pads are in desperate need of trimming. All but the smallest of rigs will get a good scraping either on the access roads or the sites themselves. This COE park would be at the bottom of my list for a return visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
