The number of "numbered" campsites is only about 38. However, there are other spaces for groups, which would make the number larger than it appears. Great Forest Service campground. This was our first time camping there and we will be going back. Nice back-in sites, kind of close, but all are equipped with fire ring, table and pad for tents or screen rooms. motorhomes, travel trailers or pup tents sit on asphalt. Campground is close to Seneca Rocks and other natural attractions. May be difficult for some to get to, since it is kind of off the beaten path and not close to any large cities or towns. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here for 3 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely stunning scenery, very well laid out campground. We were in Loop C, and as we were there in the middle of the week, had very few neighbors. The last night we were there, the campground was starting to fill up, but although we could see our fellow campers, we didn't feel like we were cramped, due to the layout of the campground. The site sizes are extremely varied, from small tent sites to very large pull throughs. We made non-site specific reservations, and upon our arrival, one of the campground hosts, Peggy, picked a perfect site for us. She and her husband, Dean, are terrific! Everything in the campground is absolutely immaculate. They ride through the campground several times a day, checking in, delivering firewood, and making sure "their campers" are okay and having a good time. The bath houses were in the process of being painted while we were there, and were spotless. There were pretty silk flowers in the ladies side, just a nice touch, I thought. We loved this campground, and will be back! We camped here in a Tent.
