We were near and called and left a message to get a call back. It took probably over an hour, but Bob called and told us how to get there. Not for the faint of heart camper, but fine for us. Beautiful park stretches along dammed up creek lake. We were visiting folks so would not be there much. Very small sites, concrete to park on, face the doublewide. No table, but picnic table across grass near lake. Only a tent site right on lake that we saw, others are near the lake. Restrooms are rustic, but clean. Plenty of hot water. Bob knew that we would be back late and it was to rain, so he didn't lock up till we were home. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice, little park on a beautiful, little lake. The RV sites are short, paved sites, somewhat close together, right on the small parking lot. The attendant's home is directly across the lot about 50 feet away. There is a boat launch, dining pavilion, playground, and horseshoe pit surrounding the RV sites, so you may experience people walking by and some noise depending on the day. It is a county park so people are in and out frequently. The main gate closes at sunset, and then it is VERY quiet. The tent sites are right along the lake shore. Be sure to go down past the tent sites. There is a nature trail and some replica pioneer structures. Nice place to stay 1 or 2 days. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful, out of the way, campground. The staff was extremely helpful, the site was clean and the price was unbelievable. The gate locks at 10 pm so be sure and get there before then. We will stay here again. One of the best places we've stayed in the last 2 months of traveling. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is a hidden gem. It's a bit off the beaten path behind Clear Creek Park. RV campsites are rather short and extend into the parking lot, but work okay for our 36 foot rig. There's a tight turn coming into the campground, but most rigs should make it okay. 30 amp hookups only and there is only 1 site with a sewer hookup. You back into your campsite and the lake is about 50 feet behind your rig. Beautiful view. Drawbacks are the boat ramp which is near the end of the RV sites which has quite a bit of traffic. Also, if there is a family reunion going on in the shelter, expect a lot of cars parked around your RV. Big plus is the cost, only $13 per night. Close to restaurants and shopping in Shelbyville, it's pretty convenient. The dump station leaves much to be desired as it's on the wrong side as you are leaving. Personally, I'd recommend dumping elsewhere, but that's up to you. Overall, a very nice clean park with grass, trees and a nice lake. Beware of the duck--he is cranky. We camped here in a Motorhome.
