We have stayed here many times over the past 2 years in a pop up and rented river cottages, and we always have a blast. The staff is very friendly, the owner drives through several times a day, and the staff enforces the rules. Between cleanings the bathrooms get messy because campers make a mess but they do their best to keep it clean for all to enjoy. We've stayed at all the campgrounds on Wally and always come back here. 2011 new bathrooms will be built. River sites are best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Enjoyed the campground and will return next year. Spent 2 weeks at this campground on a lot overlooking the river which resulted in a lot of entertainment. Difficult entrance way and exit for a 40ft 5th wheel and the lack of a sewer hookup was a problem. Low hanging power lines is trouble for a big rig and we had to have a spotter walking beside the rig to make sure we could clear them with only a couple of inches to spare. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I camp with a group and this is the second time we were here, both times it was horrible!! The restrooms are an outhouse which the clean maybe once a year! The smell & flies was so bad that I feel lucky I had an RV to use! Four of the campers with us got sick because of this. If you're looking for something to do: this campground has NOTHING! Well, canoeing which we did, was OK, equipment was fine and we all had a good time. They have security folks that visit your camp site just after food is ready (I swear they can smell it from a mile away!). One guy was a real pest and kept asking for food: really! My RV's engine backfired when we were leaving (we were just about the only ones here) and they accused us of setting off some sort of firework, therefore violating the rules and kept our $100 security deposit! The security guy was angry at us, for complaining about his pestering us for food. There are so many BETTER campgrounds in this area, you would be a fool to visit this place. Be warned! Stay away! We camped here in a Motorhome.
