We camped here for 3 months, given a monthly rate of $1,130 but we were not not told that all 3 months would be required up front CASH (no refund). Also, we were required to pay an extra $100 deposit in CASH for any electric over $100 month with no statement to prove use. Owner is rude and abrasive and usually never on sit. There is NO staff, NO laundry, no facilities at all. Small dumpster that is never dumped and always overflowing, and lawn was only mowed 2 times in 3 months. There are some hookups at the marina which could be considered waterfront, but there is no sewer so grey-water discharge on grass is allowed. There is a extra cash fee for everything, including to park extra vehicles, dolly, trailers or anything that won't fit on site. Not much fits on the site. The place was empty when we got here in January when all other parks were full. The park is at the end of the airport runway and the interstate and train are very close as is a fire station. The noise could be unbearable if your rig isn't well insulated. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Although not a lot of facilities, it is a very spacious park with marina access. Sites are large and well maintained. Tri-Rail and interstates are close to the facility. Just a half mile from Bass Pro Shop. Good drainage for Florida's downpours. Small, but very comfortable park for those who don't need a lot of entertainment on site. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good location for wanting to be close to Fort Lauderdale. Not too far off interstate 95, so that was convenient. Unfortunately, it is also directly under the flight path of the small planes that land at the Fort Lauderdale airport. When they are landing they are only 100-200' off the ground and are VERY loud. Mostly big rigs and 5th wheels. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I am only reviewing the campground just to clarify the information previously posted. We had spent some considerable time searching for a campground in the area to stay for about one month and because of the previous review, we did look at this one. It is certainly very nice and small. It is mostly for people who are camping with a boat. It does NOT have any public restrooms or showers for the RV area. No cable, no Wi-Fi. For us it was definitely overpriced for what they did offer. This is not a campground for those who want some typical RV facilities. It is a nice area for a large, self contained motorhome that has no need for any facilities. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I have stayed at several parks in south Florida, but recently came across Northcoast on the suggestion of a friend from Toronto who raved about both the park and it's owners. I was pleasantly surprised at the interest and thoughtfulness of Angela and Dallas the owner/operators from the moment we arrived up until our departure two weeks later. The grounds were well manicured, the other guests were very friendly and the attached marina was beautiful to walk around first thing in the morning. Our lot was spacious and had it's own private tiki hut which was a quaint spot to have coffee and eat lunch. The location was very convenient to the beach and a short cab ride to downtown Fort Lauderdale. I wished I had known about this park earlier, but will definitely be returning here next time we visit! We camped here in a Motorhome.
