    B) I think a get together somewhere would be great. Maybe an east coast and a west coast, just a thought on that. Especially with such high fuel prices. Also I know the owner real well at the Statesville,NC KOA. Maybe we can block out a full weekend there. Anyone have any ideas? B)

I think it's a great idea. I would love to attend as long as its not in the Summer. I can't leave the Park in the Summer.

Definitely fall or spring. I don't want to travel in summer when the whole world is travelling.

Yes, Canyonville, Oregon. Seven Feathers must be seen! It is, so far, one of the best parks we have been in! They even shuttle you anywhere in town, as well. And is VERY inexpensive with all the coupons they give you!

Heard so much about this 'Seven Feathers' decided to check it out on our way up I-5. Good grief: there was some bucks dropped on this place...
Check-in process is a bit belabored, but once in...they leave you alone should you wish to just soak up the piece and quiet.
We were bent on cool coastal breezes, so ambled on out to Winchester Bay / Reedsport, Oregon area. Ahhh. Now this is what the doctor ordered...

Try staing at the KOA in Fancy Gap. Its a whole lot cleaner and you wont have to deal with all the freeway noise. I've stayed with a group at the Fancy Gap KOA before and they will cut you a deal and were awesome at making sure all of us (about 12) were next to, or close to each other.

The Fancy Gap/Blue Ridge KOA is in Fancy Gap VA. Its the in the Southwest corner of VA about 10 or 12 miles above the NC border. The people at this park are fantastic, and they keep the place super clean. The only draw back is that they are in the middle of the mountians. Being in the mountains means that most of their sites require leveling. Then again being in the mtns means that it always stays about 10 degrees cooler than everywhere else in the lowlands.

We've been camping at this park since before the new owners bought it in '04 or '05 and just cant believe how much they have done with this place. Deffinitly worth checking out.
