Has anyone ever visited both Devils Fork & Table Rock S.C. State Parks? We can't decide which one we'd like to camp at. We like lake swimming & hiking around waterfalls. Would love a shady/woodsy camp site. Camping in a 30' TT with kids 15, 12, & 10. Thanks for any input.

We just camped at Devils Fork last month...very nice campground....it was the only one around there that we thought was good for larger units...we have a 30 foot travel trailer, too. Devils Fork was the best in the area as far as we were concerned...will be going back...the roads are a little tight, just beware...the very best sites in my opinion are #30 and #59, although there are a lot of good ones....Lake Jocassee is beautiful...the whole Table Rock area is beautiful...I highly recommend you take a day trip to Ceasar's Head, about 35 miles away, the view from atop is breathtaking....hope this helps you.
