Is there a way to input information taken from State-provided literature on Parks in one's home State even if one has not stayed there? Since the site is run by volunteers, perhaps those of us using it could be of service. Information taken from the literature provided could be sited using a standard bibilo entry, including the year of the information.

I'm not sure if you are asking about inserting information for a park that is not yet included in our database, or if you want to augment an existing listing. We do permit owners and managers of privately owned CG's to control the listings of their own parks and to add informative photos. There's no reason that authorized individuals can't do the same for State or municipal parks. If that's what you are wanting to do then you should click on the "Own this campground?" link on the listing for the park in question. That link will take you to a form through which you can establish your credentials for taking charge of the park's listing. Unfortunately, if you are simply a concerned citizen, you wouldn't be permitted to do this.

Alternatively, we do, from time to time, receive requests to add parks to our database. If that is what you are interested in doing, please address that request via the Help Desk link on the pages of this website.

Adding to docj's information: If you are simply wanting to correct or add to any of the amenities/hookups/etc. that we currently have listed for a park, you can click on the small edit button beside the amenity list label, and you will be able to edit what is listed. When finished scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save Changes. The updates will be sent to an admin for review and posting.
